Can I pay for upgrading to a limited liability company in installments?

Yes. The installment plan is paid in 2 payments, two weeks apart. You can also pay in full.
What do I need to upgrade my enterprise to a limited liability company?

- Your existing CAC registration certificate and CAC status report
- The owner's details, address, passport photograph, ID card and signature on white paper
- The business address and three choices of company name
- Details and documents for each director, including their percentage owned
Business name or limited company: which should I register?

- Business name (enterprise): registered with one owner's details, ID, passport photograph and signature.
- Private limited liability company: also needs the details of each director and their percentage of shares. Choose the "2 Million shares or above" option if your company will have 2 million shares or more.

If you start with a business name, you can later upgrade it with "Upgrading Enterprises to Limited Liability Company".
Can I add more than one director or trustee?

Yes. The director (or trustee) details can be repeated on the form, so add one entry for each person.
Why do I need to give more than one business name?

If your first choice isn't approved, your next choice can be used instead, so you don't have to start again.
Do I need to visit a CAC office?

What ID does CAC usually need?

Most CAC registrations ask for:
